Budakid’s Loganta is a small release with a clear center: its title track. The two-track EP arrived on Last Night On Earth on 13 September 2024, with serene synths and celestial pads giving it an immersive, melodic pull. It sits on the more emotional side of the Dutch producer’s work.
The label route supplies context. Sasha’s Last Night On Earth joins a catalogue that already includes Diynamic, Permanent Vacation and Anjunadeep, so Loganta reads as a 2024 step within an established electronic path rather than a one-off experiment.
On the title track, a calm synth-led surface gains depth from its layers and sense of forward motion. The short format keeps that centerpiece easy to find without asking the EP to make a larger statement than two tracks can support.
The second track stays part of the frame without competing for the headline. At this scale, the arrangement of the release is easy to understand: one named centerpiece, one companion and a clear label address.
