Jonas Saalbach’s two-track Waterfalls EP returned him to Purified Records on June 19. It follows his earlier Data Romance release for the label, with “Waterfalls” and “Wild Child” taking different approaches within a short format.
The title track leans on expressive vocals and forward motion; “Wild Child” brings a more playful feel. Theia’s contribution is part of the release’s identity, and Saalbach’s work sits between melodic deep house and progressive house.
That contrast gives the EP its shape without stretching it into a larger album story. Saalbach’s return to Purified is the context; two tracks are enough to show the difference between the reflective title cut and the looser second track.
