Shimza and Elderbrook’s “Falling” is a standalone single released through Helix Records on January 16. It follows “Places,” their 2024 collaboration on Elderbrook’s Another Touch, and brings that partnership into a new release.
Falling keeps its motion measured, built around Shimza’s Afro-tech foundation and a patient, restrained approach. The release carries emotional weight without abandoning forward movement, placing the new single beside “Places” as another entry in the partnership.
